This is a key role within a scaling organisation that's disrupting its market with a sustainable consumer product and ambitious growth plans.We're looking for an analytical, commercially minded supply chain professional to take ownership of production planning, procurement, inventory management and demand forecasting, ensuring operations run efficiently as the business continues to expand.The RoleWorking closely with senior leadership, you'll be responsible for translating demand forecasts into production plans, managing stock levels across raw materials and finished goods, and driving continuous improvements across the supply chain.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced SME environment where they can make a genuine impact and take ownership of key operational processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead demand forecasting and production planningManage procurement of raw materials and packagingMaintain optimal inventory levels across multiple product categoriesMonitor stock accuracy, sales data and cost of goods (COGS)Produce daily and weekly operational KPI reportsBuild strong supplier relationships and support ongoing cost optimisation initiativesWork closely with production to ensure material availability and efficient schedulingSupport continuous improvement projects across planning and supply chain operationsAbout YouExperience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting or production planning within food manufacturing or FMCGStrong analytical skills with advanced Excel and ERP/MRP systems experienceCommercially aware with experience managing inventory, procurement and operational dataHighly organised with excellent attention to detailComfortable working in a growing business where priorities can change quicklyExperience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers would be advantageousWhat's on OfferCompetitive salaryPrivate healthcarePension25 days holiday plus bank holidaysShare optionsThe opportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing food manufacturing business where your contribution will have a direct impact on future success.Please note: Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
