Supply Chain Lead

We are hiring a Supply Chain Lead at Gynoveda.Gynoveda is India's first Ayurveda Couple Fertility Clinic and already the country's 3rd-largest Ayurveda clinic chain: 60+ clinics across 30+ cities, scaling to 100+. No category called Ayurveda fertility care existed before us. We are building it, clinic by clinic, with modern systems, and we are Great Place to Work certified while doing it.Very few companies in India own their supply chain the way we now do: from 120 raw herbs, through a network of vendors and manufacturing partners, to the shelf of every clinic. The role doesn't include a mature function to maintain. They build a capability the category has never had, and their work becomes the reference point for everyone who comes after.Why this role exists:Two years ago, our model was simple. Contract manufacturers made the products, and we bought them finished.Today we own the raw materials ourselves, around 120 herbs, sourced from a network of vendors, converted into finished goods by our manufacturing partners. Owning the herbs gave us control over quality at the source. It also gave us longer lead times, more quality gates, and far more moving parts to hold together.Right now, that raw material-to-finished-goods cycle runs beyond 80 days. The person we hire will bring it under 60. That single number is the mandate. Everything below serves it.What you will own:The manufacturer and vendor network: timelines locked ahead of demand, no single partner carrying too much of our loadThe 80 to 60 day journey: finding where the days actually hide, and removing them at the rootQuality on every batch, herb and finished good alike, with deviations fixed at source, not caught at the gateStock across warehouse and clinics: a stock out at a clinic is a promise broken to a patient, and we do not break thoseCOGS, inventory accuracy and working capital, built jointly with FinanceCompliance kept current: AYUSH, GMP, drug licenses and renewalsA written playbook, so this function runs on process, and never again on memory or on one personThe kind of leader who will enjoy this role:This is a builder's seat.
