Role DescriptionA Supply Chain – Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting day-to-day supply chain, logistics, transportation, inventory, warehousing, procurement, and delivery activities. The role works closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, transport providers, warehouses, procurement teams, customers, and internal departments to ensure materials and products are ordered, received, stored, transported, and delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily supply chain and logistics activities from procurement and supplier coordination through delivery and final distribution.Monitor purchase orders, shipments, deliveries, inventory movements, and logistics schedules.Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order quantities, availability, lead times, delivery schedules, and documentation.Arrange and coordinate local and international transportation, freight forwarding, courier services, and delivery activities where required.Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery notes, purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, customs documents, and other logistics documentation.Track shipments and provide regular updates regarding shipment status, estimated arrival times, delays, and delivery issues.Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, transport companies, drivers, warehouses, and other logistics service providers.Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely collection, transportation, receiving, and delivery.Coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, dispatching, stock movement, inventory organization, and order fulfillment.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, deliveries, shipments, purchase orders, and logistics transactions.Monitor inventory availability and identify shortages, excess stock, slow-moving items, and potential supply disruptions.Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and investigation of inventory discrepancies.Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and replenishment of materials, products, equipment, and supplies.Follow up with suppliers regarding delayed orders, backorders, shortages, damaged goods, incorrect quantities, and quality issues.Coordinate delivery schedules with customers, internal departments, project teams, warehouses, and transport providers.Prepare delivery schedules, transportation plans, shipment trackers, logistics reports, and operational summaries.Verify shipping and receiving documentation against purchase orders, delivery requirements, quantities, and specifications.Assist with import and export logistics, customs clearance, documentation, and regulatory requirements where applicable.Monitor customs, port, airport, and transportation processes to minimize delays and additional costs.Coordinate with finance teams regarding freight invoices, supplier invoices, transportation charges, customs fees, and logistics-related expenses.Review logistics invoices and supporting documents and identify discrepancies before processing.Monitor transportation costs, freight charges, delivery expenses, and other supply-chain-related costs.Assist with supplier performance monitoring, logistics-service evaluation, and service-level tracking.Maintain records of supplier contacts, logistics providers, transport companies, contracts, rates, and service agreements.Investigate delivery delays, damaged shipments, missing items, inventory discrepancies, and transportation issues.Coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments to resolve logistics problems.Ensure goods are transported, handled, stored, and delivered according to company procedures and applicable safety requirements.Monitor product packaging, labeling, handling, storage, and transportation requirements where applicable.Coordinate with sales, customer service, procurement, finance, operations, production, warehouse, and management teams.Update ERP, warehouse-management, transportation-management, procurement, inventory, and supply-chain systems.Prepare supply-chain KPIs, inventory reports, shipment reports, delivery-performance reports, supplier-performance reports, and management updates.Monitor key performance indicators such as delivery accuracy, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, lead time, transportation costs, and order fulfillment.Support demand planning, inventory planning, procurement planning, and supply-chain forecasting activities where required.Assist with contingency planning and alternative sourcing or transportation arrangements during supply disruptions.Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical supply-chain and logistics records.Ensure logistics and supply-chain activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, customs regulations, transportation regulations, safety standards, and applicable laws.Maintain confidentiality of supplier information, pricing, customer information, contracts, shipment details, inventory data, and commercial information.Identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, inventory accuracy, transportation efficiency, supplier performance, cost control, supply continuity, and overall supply-chain effectiveness.Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain coordination, logistics operations, inventory management, procurement support, transportation efficiency, delivery reliability, and customer satisfaction.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.Previous experience in supply chain, logistics, transportation, warehouse coordination, procurement, inventory management, or a related position is preferred.Good understanding of supply-chain processes, logistics operations, inventory control, transportation, procurement, warehousing, and distribution.Strong knowledge of purchase orders, shipment tracking, delivery documentation, inventory records, and logistics coordination.Strong organizational, coordination, follow-up, time-management, and multitasking skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders, shipments, inventory, documentation, and logistics records.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong supplier, customer, carrier, warehouse, and stakeholder coordination abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Familiarity with ERP, WMS, TMS, inventory-management, procurement, or supply-chain systems is advantageous.Strong data-entry, reporting, documentation, record-keeping, and analytical abilities.Good understanding of inventory control, stock reconciliation, shipment planning, and delivery scheduling.Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, freight forwarding, and international logistics is advantageous.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly when handling shipment delays, shortages, damaged goods, and supply disruptions.Ability to manage multiple suppliers, shipments, purchase orders, delivery schedules, inventory requirements, and deadlines simultaneously.Understanding of logistics costs, freight charges, supplier pricing, and basic supply-chain cost control is advantageous.Relevant certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Inventory Management, or related areas are advantageous.Ability to work effectively with suppliers, procurement
