SCM Buyer | Abu Dhabi | 1-Year ContractWe are hiring an experienced SCM Buyer for a leading global energy and engineering company in Abu Dhabi.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in procurement, supply chain management, logistics, vendor management, contract negotiation, and project-based environments, preferably within industrial, engineering, EPC, power, or turnkey projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement activities for project requirements.Source and qualify suppliers and negotiate commercial agreements.Handle logistics, customs clearance, transportation, manpower services, and project-related procurement.Expedite orders and ensure timely delivery.Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery or quality issues.Support bid and proposal teams with sourcing and market information.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.7 to 10 years of procurement and supply chain experience in a project environment.Minimum 5 years of experience procuring tailored/customized equipment.Strong knowledge of logistics, contracts, supplier management, and sourcing.Experience with large industrial, EPC, energy, manufacturing, or turnkey projects.Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Willingness to travel across GCC countries when required.Location: Abu DhabiStart Date: Mid-September 2026Contract Duration: 1 YearGCC travel may be required.
