The Supply Chain Manager – Assay Sourcing will own end-to-end management of Raw Material contract manufacturers (CM) for lateral flow assays (LFA). This role is accountable for operational execution, supplier strategy, and supply chain risk management across development, ramp, and sustained production.This role offers significant ownership across sourcing, supplier management, manufacturing operations, and supply chain strategy within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities Contract Manufacturer & Program LeadershipLead all communications upward and downward across the organization, clearly surfacing risks, trade-offs, and resolution paths to executive leadership.Ensure all operational milestones are met on time, driving smooth and successful Assay launches.Act as the single-threaded owner for CM performance, escalation management, and operational alignment.Partner with CM teams to improve internal processes, and maintenance efficiency, minimizing downtime and production risk. Commodity Strategy & Supplier ManagementDevelop a nuanced understanding of the LFA commodity and materials landscape (Sample pads, NC, Antibodies & Hormones) to forecast industry trends and emerging competitive forces.Identify shifts in buyer and supplier power across core materials and leverage market dynamics to our advantage.Work directly with suppliers to negotiate optimal sourcing terms, balancing cost, volume, quality, and long-term supply continuity.Cross-Functional & Executive CollaborationCollaborate closely with engineering, quality, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.Rapidly synthesize complex operational, cost, and market data and communicate clear insights and recommendations to senior leaders.Proactively identify supply constraints or risks that could impact product strategy or roadmap decisions. Supply Chain Optimization & Risk ManagementOptimize global supply chain performance through cost analysis, scenario modeling, and benchmarking.Build a deep understanding of value-added manufacturing processes, cost structures, reverse logistics, and market intelligence.Assess and mitigate risks to the business, including managing global supply chain disruptions in real time with international partners and teams. Required Qualifications Proven experience managing contract manufacturers or any Medical Devices / Assay Manufacturers, or regulated device environments. Should have worked with Vendors in East Asia.Strong background in operations, supply chain management, and program leadership across NPI and sustained production.Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across global teams and time zones, including close engagement with Asia-based partners.Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to frame issues, options, and trade-offs clearly.Data-driven mindset with experience in cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and operational risk management.Bachelors in Engineering from a Tier 1 University.Strong analytical skills and bias towards tech & data. Ownership & Ready to roll up sleeves whenever required. 5+ Years of experience. Willingness to Travel 50% of Time.
