Supply Chain Manager

Role Description The Supply Chain Manager role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Supply Chain Manager will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for fruit sourcing and distribution, including coordinating procurement with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and monitoring stock movements. This role involves planning demand for different fruit varieties, aligning supply with seasonal availability, and optimizing logistics to ensure timely and safe delivery to various locations. The Supply Chain Manager will track key performance metrics, analyze data related to demand and supply, and recommend improvements to reduce waste and costs. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with vendors and internal teams, updating systems and records, and supporting bulk and corporate orders with efficient supply chain processes.QualificationsStrong demand planning and forecasting skills, with the ability to align supply with seasonal and customer-specific requirements.Well-developed analytical skills to interpret supply chain data, monitor performance, and support data-driven decision-making.Experience in supply management and coordination with vendors and logistics partners to ensure consistent product availability.Proficiency in inventory management and stock control to minimize waste and maintain optimal fruit quality.Knowledge of procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiations, and cost optimization.Relevant experience in food, FMCG, or fresh produce supply chains is an advantage.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.Organizational and time-management skills suitable for managing multiple orders and delivery channels.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field preferred.
