Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis is not a job with Consumer Connection Supply Chain ManagerLocation: United StatesIndustry: Food & Consumer ProductsLevel: ManagerAbout the RoleOur client is a growing food and consumer products company seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and strengthen its end-to-end supply chain operations across the U.S.This is a highly visible role responsible for integrating demand planning, supply planning, inventory, logistics, and order management to ensure products reach customers reliably, on time, and cost-effectively.The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, developing teams, and bringing greater visibility and predictability to a growing organization.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of the company's S&OP process, aligning demand, supply, inventory, and business objectives.Develop demand and supply planning processes, including rolling forecasts and production planning.Translate customer demand and sales forecasts into actionable supply plans.Manage inventory levels, SKU health, safety stock, and inventory positioning across distribution locations.Oversee logistics and order management activities, including 3PLs, freight partners, carriers, and customs brokers.Manage international inbound logistics and coordinate shipments, documentation, and delivery schedules.Monitor end-to-end shipments and proactively identify and resolve supply chain risks.Establish and improve SOPs, processes, systems, and performance metrics.Develop dashboards and reporting around forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory, logistics costs, and other key KPIs.Lead, mentor, and develop a team across planning, logistics, inventory, and order management.Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and international supply chain teams.Identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce costs, optimize working capital, and increase operational efficiency.Support the implementation and ongoing management of supply chain technology, ERP/WMS, and planning tools.Lead supply chain security and compliance initiatives, including CTPAT.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, inventory, or distribution.Experience in food, beverage, ingredients, consumer products, or another import-intensive industry preferred.Experience managing international supply chains and long-lead-time environments.Strong background in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and logistics.Experience working with 3PLs, freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and other external partners.Demonstrated ability to build or improve supply chain processes in a growing or entrepreneurial organization.Previous team leadership and people-management experience.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/MRP, WMS, BI, or supply chain planning systems.Ability to work effectively across functions, cultures, and time zones.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for a builder and operator who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where processes may still be evolving.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supply chain leader who wants to have a meaningful impact on a growing organization and build a more sophisticated, scalable supply chain operation.
