The SCM will be responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers. This includes procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution, all while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesPrimary supply chain liaison between the Buyers and Factory StakeholdersDaily engagement with project management, planning, and buying teamsManage material priorities for competing projectsLead, train, and mentor the supply chain teamSourcing Strategy for new material requirementsPurchase materials and suppliesMonitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stockUpdate and maintain purchasing records and dataEnsure compliance with procurement policies and regulationsBuild and maintain strategic relationships with suppliersHold quarterly business reviews with suppliers at their locationAnalyze market trends and purchase data for risk and opportunitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies to mitigate supply risksNegotiate with suppliers to secure pricing agreements and better termsPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of 10 years purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or engineeringExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsIntermediate level Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmAcute attention to detailExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong negotiation skillsAbility to work well under pressure maintaining a customer-focused mindsetMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipMust be able to travel domestically and abroadPreferred QualificationsExperience or knowledge in switch gear or other power distribution equipment a plusExperience with industrial breakersExperience with copper commodity managementExperience with sheet metal commodity managementExperience with Epicor KineticProject management experiencePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.Work EnvironmentMay work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
