With a dynamic, mission-driven team, they are poised for continued growth and looking for the right leader to take their supply chain to the next level.About the Role:As the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the entire supply chain: procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and demand forecasting. Working directly with small factories in Asia, you'll source parts and products, negotiate prices and terms, and manage contracts and shipments through to the warehouse. Your experience with global suppliers, forecasting discipline, and continuous improvement mindset will directly shape the company's growth.Responsibilities:Manage the entire supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and demand forecastingProcure parts and products directly from small factories in Asia and domestic suppliersCommunicate directly with Asian factories and cultivate strong business relationshipsForecast demand and plan inventory to ensure on-time order fulfillmentCollaborate with engineers on the development of new components and products, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and supplier sourcingManage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely completion of ordersArrange and consolidate shipments, monitor containers in transit, and ensure on-time arrival at the warehouseIdentify and resolve quality issues directly with Asian factoriesManage carrier portfolio, monitor performance and cost competitiveness, and negotiate pricingPlan and monitor inventory shipments for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) ordersTrack Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify areas for improvementAnalyze and audit freight bills (FedEx, UPS, International)Track landed cost, review invoices, and process supplier paymentsDrive Continuous Improvement (CI) of the supply chain to ensure quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfactionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, or a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Logistics3–5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager for a small or medium-sized companyA minimum of 3 years' proven procurement experience with AsiaSolid understanding of Asian culture and business practices, international trade regulations, and global supply chain logisticsStrong proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory planningPractical experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuiteProficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (in particular Advanced Excel); knowledge of SQL is desiredE-commerce experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings are desiredExceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsRequired Skills:Global Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience procuring from Asian factories, with a deep understanding of cultural differences and challenges in a global supply chainForecasting & Planning: Strong proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory planning, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisionsOperational Flexibility: Willingness to adjust your schedule to align with Asian suppliers’ business hours on an as-needed basisProcess Improvement Mindset: Self-motivated to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities; practical experience with Lean Manufacturing is a plusTech Savviness: Practical experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Advanced Excel, and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a plusEntrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable in a small or medium-sized company environment, with the adaptability to pivot confidently as the business growsPreferred Skills:Experience in e-commerceTechnical knowledgeAbility to read drawingsPay range and compensation package:Immediate full-time employment with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, including healthcare plans, flexible schedules, paid holidays, and generous paid time off (PTO).
