Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Title: Supply Chain ManagerCompany: Client of D'GenMinds Talent GroupRole OverviewThe Supply Chain Manager will lead all facets of our upstream supply chain, focusing exclusively on strategic sourcing, high-stakes procurement of critical-grade materials, global/domestic vendor management, and project-based execution for the Oil & Gas sector. This role requires navigating strict regulatory compliances, high-integrity material sourcing, and specialized vendor partnerships to support engineered-to-order (ETO) vacuum systems for the energy sector, leaving physical warehouse operations and day-to-day internal logistics to dedicated plant teams. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & O&G Vendor ManagementFormulate and execute procurement strategies tailored for heavy industrial and Oil & Gas / Petrochemical equipment manufacturing.Source critical high-grade raw materials, specialized metallurgy (e.g., Hastelloy, Titanium, Duplex/Super Duplex stainless steels), heavy castings, and explosion-proof electrical/instrumentation components.Lead strategic negotiations, framing long-term master service agreements (MSAs) and framework contracts with global and domestic vendors capable of meeting strict Oil & Gas industry compliance and traceability standards.Implement rigorous vendor qualification, supplier audits, and performance tracking systems, ensuring adherence to client-specific approved vendor lists (AVL) typical of major EPC contractors and O&G end-users.Project Procurement & Engineered-to-Order (ETO) ExecutionDrive end-to-end procurement execution for customized, skid-mounted vacuum systems and packaged units for upstream, midstream, and downstream O&G projects.Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and sales teams during the bidding and execution phases to align material delivery schedules with strict project milestones.Monitor project cost baselines, mitigate market volatility risks, and prevent cost overruns on long-lead, high-value components.Regulatory Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure all procured materials and sub-assemblies strictly comply with international oil and gas standards, safety mandates, and statutory certifications (e.g., ATEX, PED, NACE, ASME, ISO).Coordinate closely with Quality Control (QC) and third-party inspection agencies (TPIAs like TÜV, BV, DNV) to drive source inspections, factory acceptance criteria, and material test certificate (MTC / EN 10204 3.1/3.2) verifications.4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & S&OP AlignmentPartner with the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team to align market demand forecasts from the energy sector with supplier manufacturing capacities.Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams early in the development cycle (Value Engineering / Value Analysis) to optimize component costs and source alternative high-integrity materials.5. Performance Metrics & Team LeadershipTrack, analyze, and report vital upstream supply chain KPIs, including Cost Savings, Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD), Project Schedule Compliance, and Supplier Quality PPM.Mentor, train, and develop the procurement and sourcing team, instilling a compliance-driven, risk-mitigating corporate culture.Desired Qualifications & SkillsEducation: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
