Job Description – SCM ManagerPosition: SCM Manager – Procurement & Supply ChainIndustry: Cleanroom / HVAC / EPC / ConstructionWork Location: Thane ( Waghle )Working Days: Monday to SaturdayWorking Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PMReporting To: Management / DirectorAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced SCM Manager to lead procurement and supply-chain activities for cleanroom and project-based operations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Cleanroom, HVAC, MEP, EPC or construction project procurement.Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end procurement and supply-chain activities for projects.- Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier network.- Source and evaluate new vendors based on quality, price, capacity and delivery capability.- Handle BOQ/BOM-based procurement and material planning.- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.- Release and manage Purchase Orders and ensure timely material delivery.- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Finance, Stores and Site teams.- Monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery commitments.- Develop alternate sources for critical materials.- Control procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.- Track material requirements, pending POs, deliveries and shortages.- Resolve vendor-related commercial and delivery issues.- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor performance reports and management reports.- Ensure procurement is aligned with project schedules and business requirements.Preferred Industry ExperienceCandidates from the following industries are preferred:- Cleanroom- HVAC- MEP- Pharma / Healthcare Projects- EPC- Industrial Construction- Modular Cleanroom / Partition Systems- Engineering & Project ProcurementPreferred Candidate Profile- Experience: 7–12+ years- Strong experience in procurement / SCM- Good understanding of project procurement- Strong vendor development and negotiation skills- Experience handling multiple projects and material categories- Good commercial and analytical skills- Strong coordination and communication skills- Advanced Excel / ERP knowledge preferredPreferred Target CompaniesCandidates currently working or previously working with companies such as:1.
