Our client is a leading local chemical manufacturer based in Çorlu, specializing in innovative and sustainable chemical solutions for the textile, paint, and coating industries.We are seeking an agile, strategic, and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, covering strategic procurement, material and production planning, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supplier management.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.7+ years of experience in end-to-end supply chain and procurement, within a chemical manufacturing environment.Hands-on experience across strategic procurement, raw material sourcing, material planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and warehouse operations.Ability to analyze global and local raw material markets, price trends, supply risks, and market dynamics.Business fluency in English, both written and spoken.No restrictions on business travel.Currently residing in—or willing to relocate to Çorlu or neighboring areas.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic purchasing strategies for critical raw materials and operational requirements, ensuring security of supply, cost competitiveness, and appropriate quality standards.Identify, evaluate, qualify, and develop alternative suppliers to mitigate supply risks and reduce single-source dependency.Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, lead times, delivery terms (Incoterms), service levels, and other commercial conditions.Manage demand and material planning based on sales forecasts, customer orders, production schedules, current inventory, and supply constraints.Coordinate closely with Production to ensure optimal production planning, material availability, and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.Determine and optimize safety stock levels, buffer inventories, and replenishment strategies based on demand variability, lead times, and supply risks.Direct and coordinate the end-to-end supply chain workflow, from raw material purchasing and receipt through production planning, warehousing, and final product shipment.Oversee domestic and international purchasing, freight logistics, customs-related processes, and warehouse operations.Monitor inventory levels, stock turnover, slow-moving and obsolete inventory, and identify opportunities to optimize working capital.Track global and local raw material price trends, market dynamics, supplier capacity, geopolitical risks, and other supply chain risks to support proactive decision-making.Establish and monitor supplier performance KPIs, including quality, delivery reliability, pricing, lead times, responsiveness, and service levels.Build and maintain long-term strategic supplier partnerships while continuously identifying opportunities for cost optimization and supply security.Partner closely with Sales, Production, R&D, Finance, and Quality teams to support new product launches, raw material trials, customer-specific projects, and changes in production requirements.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to improve service levels, efficiency, cost competitiveness, inventory performance, and operational resilience.Provide regular supply chain performance reports, forecasts, risk assessments, and improvement plans to senior management.
