Combining the dynamism of an international company on a human scale with the solidity of a large group, Seppic forms a team of nearly 800 talented men and women around the world who are passionate about what they do every day, serving their customers and the health, well-being and beauty of all. www.seppic.comThe Supply Chain Manager will negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use as a generalist or in a combination of Purchasing Disciplines.This role will manage professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production or operations team(s), has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function, adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges, decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from senior manager, & provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.ResponsibilitiesNegotiate price and incoterm with raw materials and packaging with local suppliersManage the MRP process to ensure the best manufacturing schedule of Seppic Inc., Richmond in accordance with sales forecast and stock level targetPurchasing of non-stored goods in coordination with Air Liquide’s corporate purchasing teamLeverage corporate purchasing best practicesTo organize procurement activities to include raw materials, packaging etcTo ensure the management of Seppic Inc., Richmond stock (Raw material receipt and transfer to manufacturing line, Finished products stock management)To organize the shipping of customers orders (Worldwide)Manage all procurement needs for the Polykon plantManager the Procurement and Supply Chain teamTo ensure the ERP systems have appropriate parameters in placeTo ensure for Seppic Inc., Richmond a good level of MRP analysis (plantification activity)To control that procurement activities are done as requiredTo ensure a good handling of products in the Polykon warehouse and in the external warehouse in accordance with safety rules and GMPParticipate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) each month with the corporate team in Seppic SATo take decisions concerning slow raw materials or packaging stockTo negotiate claims treatment with suppliersManage the claim process with supplies__________________Are you a MATCH? Required QualificationsBachelor degree, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience5+ years of supply chain experience5 + years Manufacturing experienceA good knowledge of Microsoft AX Dynamics and ERP principlesA good knowledge of best practice in supply chain and procurementManagement of diverse teamsAbility to work independently and within teamsGood distribution practices (EFFCi and FDA)Management experiencePreferred QualificationsPrior industrial gas experienceFluency in French
