As the organization continues to expand its operations and strengthen its regional capabilities in Singapore, they are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Supply Chain Manager to join its APAC headquarters based here in Singapore.They are looking for a driven leader who can manage supplier relationships, oversee accessories purchasing activities, guide a small team, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.Key Responsibilities:-Manage and negotiate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered according to required timelines, while resolving urgent supply issues such as expediting or de-expediting orders.Provide planning teams with timely and transparent updates on material shortages, supplier delivery changes, capacity constraints, and operational challenges.Lead a team in establishing clear responsibilities, effective processes, and efficient ways of working.Conduct regular demand and supply reviews with suppliers to identify potential risks and address future supply constraints proactively.Develop and implement initiatives that enhance supplier flexibility, responsiveness, and overall performance.Lead and contribute to supply chain improvement projects, including inventory reduction and optimization initiatives.Requirements:-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.8 to 10 years of experience within medical devices Industry or related sectors.Practical experience in supply chain management, preferably covering materials or supply planning, sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management.Strong understanding of supply planning, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and procurement processes.Experience managing sourcing and supplier activities for raw materials, mechanical components, and/or electronic components would be an advantage.Hands-on knowledge of supply planning processes and experience using supplier collaboration or supply chain management tools.Proven ability to build strong supplier relationships and drive measurable improvements in supplier performance.Previous people-management or team-leadership experience is essential.Morgan McKinley Pte LtdNicholas LimEA Licence No: 11C5502 EA Registration No: R23116117
