Supply Chain Manager

JOB TITLE: Supply Chain ManagerREPORTS TO: General ManagerLOCATION: Ever Steel Factory at National Road 4SALARY RANGE: NegotiableJob Description;Plan and implement the company’s supply chain and procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance throughout the supply chain network.Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, monitor logistics activities, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to customers and distribution centersAnalyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and solve other issues.Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards. Evaluate and report on KPIs.Maintain supply chain inventory and records. Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks).Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.Communicate, evaluate and negotiate spending operations with suppliers or vendors to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveriesMaintains and/or implements purchasing and recordkeeping systems.Supervision of indirect procurement, including the purchasing of goods, services, supplies, and materials needed for daily operations.Maintaining good relationships and rapport with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors.Any other task as instructed by the General Manager.REQUIREMENTS1. At least 5 years of experience as a supply chain manager, logistics, or in a similar field.2. Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes.3. Excellent written and verbal English.4. Excellent communication, organizational and project management skills.5. Attention to detail.6. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.7. Experience in Steel or Construction related field will be a plus. 8. Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
