Advanced assembly technologies and fully automated SMT production lines support reliable, on-time delivery of complex electronic systems.Role DescriptionThe Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, TX, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations for electronic assembly and manufacturing. This role manages demand planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure timely availability of materials for rapid prototype, pre-production, and production builds. The Supply Chain Manager will establish and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to support cost, quality, and delivery targets. Day-to-day activities include analyzing material requirements, optimizing stock levels, coordinating with engineering, production, and quality teams, and resolving supply issues that could impact customer commitments. The role also involves implementing process improvements, tracking key supply chain metrics, and supporting compliance with industry standards and certifications.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Demand Planning skills and the ability to forecast material needs in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data, monitoring KPIs, and making data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain performance.Candidates should possess Supply Management and Procurement skills, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and vendor performance evaluation.Candidates should possess Inventory Management skills, with experience in setting reorder points, managing safety stock, and reducing excess and obsolete inventory.Relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or high-technology production environments is beneficial.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel, along with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, is beneficial.Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives and familiarity with quality standards (such as ISO or AS certifications) is a plus.
