Location: Highland Park, IL - On-site, 5 days per week.Salary: US$150,000–$160,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.About the Opportunity:Our client is a dynamic, family-owned wine and spirits company with a growing portfolio of premium brands and an established international presence.

About the Role

They are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize the company’s end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, production, inventory, demand planning, logistics and distribution.Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for driving operational improvements, developing scalable processes, managing direct reports and leading cross-functional initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance, Sales and Operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, strengthen supply chain performance and support continued business growth.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies spanning procurement, production, inventory, forecasting, logistics and distribution.Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, productivity and cost performance across existing and new brands.Lead, manage and develop direct reports, building a high-performing and scalable supply chain function.Lead cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives, establishing clear objectives, milestones, deliverables and risk mitigation plans.Leverage data analytics and KPI reporting to identify opportunities and drive measurable operational improvements.Improve demand forecasting, inventory planning and replenishment strategies to optimize stock levels and service performance.Manage key supplier and vendor relationships, including pricing negotiations, contract support and service-level benchmarking.Partner closely with Finance, Sales and Operations to improve processes, resolve operational challenges and support business objectives.Identify and mitigate supply chain, supplier and logistics risks to ensure continuity of supply.Develop and enhance KPI dashboards and reporting, providing leadership with visibility into performance, milestones, risks and opportunities.Oversee the R&D and procurement of raw materials.Ensure supply chain processes comply with applicable legal, regulatory and contractual requirements.Support the Vice President of Operations with vendor contracts and commercial negotiations.Support and drive NetSuite implementation, process optimization and automation across supply chain operations.Identify gaps across people, processes and systems and implement practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Key Requirements: The successful candidate will be an experienced supply chain leader and people manager with a proven track record of improving complex supply chain operations within a fast-paced consumer products environment.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

Required Skills

5+ years of supply chain management experience, ideally within alcohol, beverages, CPG or a related consumer products environment.Proven people leadership and management experience, including responsibility for direct reports.Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite, including supply chain modules, automation and reporting.NetSuite implementation experience is essential.Strong experience across procurement, production, inventory management, demand forecasting, replenishment, logistics and distribution.Demonstrated success in process optimization, continuous improvement and cost reduction.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables and macros.Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data and KPI reporting to support operational and commercial decision-making.Proven supplier and vendor management and negotiation experience, including pricing and service benchmarking.Strong project and program management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple cross-functional initiatives.Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational and supply chain risks.Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.Willingness to travel periodically to production facilities and supplier locations as required.Pay range and compensation packageSalary: US$150,000–$160,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Why Join?This is an opportunity to take on a highly visible senior leadership role within a successful and growing premium wine and spirits business.The Senior Supply Chain Manager will work directly with senior leadership and have significant influence over the development of the company's supply chain strategy, processes and systems.The role offers broad ownership across procurement, inventory, forecasting, logistics, supplier management, technology and operational performance, with the opportunity to build scalable processes and deliver measurable business results as the company continues to grow.
