Supply Chain Manager

About The RoleWe are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially aware Supply Chain Manager to join our growing fragrance and perfume business.You will be responsible for coordinating the supply of raw materials, packaging and finished products, ensuring products are available when required while maintaining appropriate stock levels and controlling costs in the Sheffield area.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in cosmetics, beauty, fragrance or manufacturing who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple suppliers and priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day supply chain activities from supplier through to finished product.Plan and coordinate the supply of fragrance oils, alcohol, bottles, caps, pumps, cartons and other packaging materials.Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.Work closely with Operations, Production, Sales and Warehouse teamsLiaise with suppliers to monitor orders, lead times and delivery dates.Resolve supply issues and minimise disruption to production.Support demand forecasting and production planning.Coordinate materials required for new product launches.Monitor supplier performance and delivery accuracy.Arrange and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.Maintain accurate supply chain records and information within the company's system.Produce regular reports covering stock, orders, supplier performance and delivery.Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and streamline processes.Support continuous-improvement projects across the supply chain.Ensure relevant quality, regulatory and documentation requirements are followed.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, logistics or operations.Experience within cosmetics, beauty, fragrance or manufacturingStrong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Good knowledge of Excel and experience using CRM systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent attention to detail.The ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.A proactive approach and the confidence to identify and resolve supply issues.What We OfferSalary to be confirmed depending on experiencePermanent, full-time positionCompany pension schemeAnnual leave allowanceOpportunities for professional developmentA collaborative and growing working environmentHow To ApplyIf you have experience in supply chain, planning or operations and are looking to develop your career within the exciting fragrance and beauty industry, we would love to hear from you.Please submit your CV along with a brief covering letter explaining your relevant experience and why you are interested in the role.
