We specialize in EPC projects, fabrication, ship and rig repair, maintenance, and complex engineering services, delivering world-class solutions to the marine, oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors.Role Purpose :The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading the entire Supply Chain function, ensuring the efficient planning, sourcing, movement, storage, and availability of materials and services required to support business operations and project execution.The role will develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve operational efficiency, optimize inventory, strengthen supplier partnerships, reduce cost, mitigate supply risks, and enhance overall business performance.Key Responsibilities :Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function, including Procurement, Purchasing, Warehouse & Inventory Management, Logistics, Material Planning, and Supplier Management.Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies aligned with business objectives, operational priorities, and project delivery requirements.Ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services to support multiple EPC, marine, and engineering projects.Establish strategic sourcing initiatives while negotiating commercial agreements with local and international suppliers.Manage supplier selection, contract negotiations, vendor performance, and long-term supplier relationships.Oversee warehouse operations, inventory optimization, stock accuracy, material preservation, and inventory control practices.Drive material planning, demand forecasting, replenishment strategies, and supply continuity to minimize operational disruptions.Manage inbound logistics, transportation, import/export coordination, and material movement across project sites.Review and approve procurement recommendations, commercial evaluations, purchase orders, and supplier awards.Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, supplier risks, and supply chain disruptions while implementing mitigation strategies.Develop and monitor Supply Chain KPIs, dashboards, and management reports to support data-driven decision-making.Ensure compliance with company governance, procurement policies, quality standards, and contractual obligations.Lead ERP system utilization and continuous improvement initiatives across Supply Chain processes.Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Candidate Profile :Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 10 years of progressive Supply Chain experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience managing end-to-end Supply Chain operations within EPC, marine, offshore, shipbuilding, oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, or heavy engineering environments.Strong expertise across Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Logistics, Material Planning, and Supplier Relationship Management.Demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-project engineering environments.Strong commercial and contractual negotiation skills with experience managing high-value procurement activities.Experience using ERP systems and Supply Chain reporting tools.Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Why Join ASMEF?At ASMEF, you’ll join one of the UAE’s leading engineering and marine organizations, where you’ll play a critical role in shaping the Supply Chain function that supports complex EPC and industrial projects.This is an opportunity to drive operational excellence, build strategic supplier partnerships, optimize business performance, and lead meaningful transformation within a growing organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.If you’re ready to make a lasting impact and lead a world-class Supply Chain function, we’d love to hear from you.Apply today!
