Supply Chain Team Lead - ESG

Descon Engineering – Industrial Services Division (UAE) is looking for an experienced Lead SCM – SUBCO professional to support key ESG, sustainable supply chain and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.The role will primarily focus on strengthening Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) practices within Supply Chain, supplier sustainability compliance, governance frameworks and supporting the SCM stream of SAP S/4HANA implementation / transformation.Key Responsibilities:• Drive supplier and subcontractor ESG / sustainability assessments• Support implementation and monitoring of the Supplier Code of Conduct• Track sustainability KPIs, supplier compliance and corrective actions• Coordinate collection and reporting of GHG emissions and sustainability data from suppliers• Support supplier risk, due diligence and sustainability governance initiatives• Assist in sustainable / green procurement initiatives and supplier engagement• Support SCM process mapping, data readiness, testing and implementation activities related to SAP S/4HANA• Coordinate with SCM, Projects, Corporate and ERP implementation teams during the transformation• Support improvement and digitalization of procurement and supply chain processesCandidate Profile:• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering• Experience: 5–12 years of relevant experience• Experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Subcontracting within Oil & Gas, EPC or Industrial Services• Good understanding of ESG, sustainable procurement, supplier sustainability or governance• Hands-on exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration or transformation projects is highly preferred• Experience in supplier performance, compliance, data management and reporting• Strong analytical, coordination and stakeholder-management skills📍 Location: UAE
