Apply & track with Apply EdgeRole DescriptionAs a Supply Planning Assistant, you will support supply planning activities to ensure products and materials are available in line with demand, inventory targets, and business requirements. You will assist with supply schedules, replenishment planning, inventory monitoring, and coordination with procurement, suppliers, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams.Key responsibilities include:Assist with daily and periodic supply planning and replenishment activities.Monitor inventory levels, demand requirements, open orders, and supply availability.Support the preparation and maintenance of supply plans, replenishment schedules, and purchase requirements.Analyze inventory and supply data to identify potential shortages, excess stock, supply gaps, and delivery risks.Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding order quantities, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to monitor inbound shipments, stock movements, and expected receipts.Maintain accurate supply, inventory, product, supplier, and planning data in relevant systems.Assist with purchase order planning and follow-up based on inventory requirements and supply plans.Monitor planned versus actual supply and highlight significant variances or potential risks.Support inventory allocation, replenishment, stock transfers, and other supply-related activities where required.Prepare supply planning reports, inventory summaries, order tracking reports, and operational updates.Assist with investigating supply delays, shortages, order discrepancies, and other planning issues.Support cross-functional planning activities with procurement, inventory, sales, merchandising, logistics, and operations teams.Contribute to improvements in supply planning accuracy, inventory efficiency, and planning processes.Perform other analytical, administrative, and operational duties related to supply planning as required.QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.Good understanding of supply planning, inventory management, procurement, replenishment, and logistics processes.Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to analyze inventory, supply, order, and demand data effectively.Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.Good problem-solving and follow-up abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple planning activities, priorities, and deadlines.Ability to work effectively with procurement, suppliers, warehouse, logistics, inventory, and operations teams.Familiarity with ERP, supply planning, inventory management, or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is an advantage.Proactive approach to identifying supply risks, shortages, and operational issues.Strong attention to data accuracy and process compliance.Ability to work systematically and maintain reliable planning records.Flexible and adaptable to changing supply, demand, and business requirements.Willingness to learn new planning tools, systems, and supply chain processes.
