About the Role

We are looking for two experienced Support Engineers – Multiphase Metering to join our technical team in Dubai.The role is focused on ensuring that every deployed multiphase flow meter continues to deliver accurate, reliable and defensible measurements throughout the life of the well.Working from our Dubai operations centre, you will monitor live production data, identify measurement issues, perform remote configuration and troubleshooting, and coordinate with field teams in the United States when physical intervention is required.You will take ownership of measurement quality, identifying abnormal readings and resolving issues before they impact the client.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor live flow data from the installed meter base during assigned shifts.Validate oil, gas, water and solids rates against expected well behavior and identify drift, blockage, sensor degradation and spurious readings.Perform remote meter configuration, including PVT parameter updates, fluid property changes and solver adjustments as well conditions evolve.Carry out first-line fault diagnosis and resolve technical issues remotely wherever possible.Raise clear and well-scoped work orders for the US field team when physical intervention is required, including required tools, parts and checks.Prepare well test reports, allocation figures and measurement summaries for clients.Maintain accurate configuration records, change logs and a complete audit trail of remote adjustments.Provide a detailed and documented handover at the end of each shift.Support the US field team remotely during installation and commissioning activities.Liaise with the equipment manufacturer on technical escalations, firmware issues and algorithm-related matters.Contribute to the development of operating procedures, troubleshooting guides and client training materials.Essential Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including at least 3 years of experience in flow measurement.Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:Multiphase flow metersTest separatorsWell testingWet gas meteringAllocation meteringCustody transfer meteringWorking knowledge of gas volume fraction, water cut, water-liquid ratio and PVT behavior of reservoir fluids.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, instrument datasheets and calibration certificates.Comfortable working with SCADA systems, historians and time-series data/trends.Familiarity with Modbus and OPC.Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare technical reports for clients.Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift pattern, including night shifts.Available to work full-time on-site in Dubai.Eligible to obtain and maintain a UAE employment visa.Desirable Qualifications:Direct experience with gamma or nuclear densitometry-based multiphase meters.Experience supporting US onshore oil and gas operators, particularly in the Permian, Bakken or Eagle Ford.Previous experience with an oilfield services company, particularly in well testing or production measurement.Knowledge of Python and/or SQL for data analysis and reporting.Experience working in a remote technical support or operations Centre environment.Email CVs to - Jobs@learntob.com
