Patients and referring providers trust the practice for consistent quality, respectful communication, and reliable outcomes.Role Description The Surgical Dental Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashua, NH. This team member supports oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures by preparing treatment rooms, organizing surgical instruments, and assisting the surgeon chairside during procedures. Daily responsibilities include maintaining strict infection control protocols, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a safe, clean clinical environment. The role also involves preparing patients for surgery, providing clear pre- and post-operative instructions, monitoring patient comfort, and updating clinical records. The Surgical Dental Assistant collaborates closely with clinical and administrative staff to coordinate patient flow, manage supplies, and support a positive experience for every patient.QualificationsStrong clinical skills in Dental Care and Dentistry to support surgical and general oral health procedures.Experience assisting with Oral Surgery, including familiarity with surgical instruments, procedures, and chairside support.Knowledge of Infection Control practices, including sterilization, OSHA standards, and maintenance of a safe clinical environment.Commitment to high-quality Patient Care, with the ability to communicate clearly, provide reassurance, and support patients before and after procedures.Relevant certification or training as a Dental Assistant; Expanded Function or surgical assistant experience is preferred.CPR/BLS certification and familiarity with basic medical and dental terminology.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a surgical team in a fast-paced setting.Previous experience in oral surgery or implantology is an advantage.We offer a well supported team environment, competitive wages, benefits, and a work / home balance.Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingContinuing education creditsDental insuranceEmployee discountFree parkingHealth insuranceLife insuranceOpportunities for advancementPaid sick timePaid time offPaid trainingProfit sharingTuition reimbursementUniform allowanceAre you available, Monday - Thursday 730AM - 545 PM, and Fridays 730 AM-430 PM?Work Location: In person
