Surgical Podiatrist - DPM

The OpportunityValley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers is seeking a full-time surgical podiatrist to join our growing practice in Fresno, California.Starting compensation is $185,000 for a first-year podiatrist, with additional compensation opportunities available based on previous experience and training.We’re looking for a motivated, clinically driven physician who wants to continue developing their medical and surgical skills while working alongside an established team of podiatrists. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited podiatric medical program and have started the process of obtaining a California license.This position offers a balanced combination of clinic and hospital responsibilities, along with opportunities to provide care in long-term care communities, nursing facilities, home healthcare settings, and wound care centers.Clinical & Surgical ExperienceVFASP has built a strong presence within the Fresno medical community and is established with major hospital systems throughout Fresno and Clovis. While our practice maintains a busy patient volume, schedules are intentionally structured to allow physicians meaningful time with their patients.Our providers round on hospital consults and collectively perform approximately 15+ surgeries per week.Surgical cases include:Ankle arthroscopyLateral ankle stabilizationFoot and ankle fusionsFoot and ankle fracture repairTendon and muscle lengtheningDiabetic limb salvageMuscle and skin flapsSkin graftingAs a surgical podiatrist, you’ll have the opportunity to manage a diverse patient population while continuing to strengthen your clinical decision-making and surgical experience.Our physicians provide comprehensive podiatric care across a variety of settings.
