There is space for every individual to be themselves and feel motivated to bring their best to the table, as well as craft a promising career for themselves.The values that form our foundation are:Radical customer centricityOwnership-driven cultureKeeping everything simpleLong-term thinkingComplete transparencyRole OverviewThe Surveillance Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing surveillance alerts from exchanges, depositories, and internal surveillance systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and detect suspicious market activities.Key Responsibilities Monitor and Review Surveillance Alerts – Review and analyze surveillance alerts received from exchanges, depositories, and the internal surveillance system to identify potential compliance violations or suspicious transaction patterns. Alert Criteria Management – Assist in the periodic review and modification of alert criteria set in the internal surveillance system; support the definition of new criteria and alert setup under guidance. Client Screening and Risk Categorization – Conduct periodic client screening and classify clients based on risk profiles to maintain regulatory compliance and identify high-risk transactions. STR Filing Support – Assist in the preparation and filing of Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) with relevant authorities in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Regulatory Correspondence – Respond to inquiries and requests from exchanges, depositories, SEBI, police, and law enforcement agencies pertaining to client transactions and account activities. Circular Implementation – Ensure timely implementation of exchange and depository circulars related to surveillance activities. MIS and Reporting – Prepare and maintain periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports for senior management and the Board of Directors; submit required reports to exchanges and depositories on scheduled timelines. Documentation and Record Keeping – Maintain accurate records of surveillance activities, alerts, investigations, and regulatory communications for audit and compliance purposes.Preferred Qualifications:2-3 years in compliance, surveillance, risk management, or regulatory operations within financial services or broking housesExperience with internal surveillance systems and monitoring toolsFamiliarity with exchange and depository regulatory frameworks (NSE/BSE/NSDL/CDSL)Knowledge of STR filing procedures and AML complianceBasic understanding of securities trading and market conduct rulesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with MS Excel and CRM toolsAttention to detail and ability to work with large datasetsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
