Sustainability & Sustainable Finance Assistant Manager

Job Duties & Responsibilities:Support the implementation of the Bank’s sustainability strategy, objectives and initiatives, aligned with Group priorities and local requirements.Monitor sustainability KPIs and support progress reporting to management.Support the development and implementation of sustainable finance products, including green, social, sustainability-linked and transition finance.Assess financing transactions against applicable sustainable finance frameworks and eligibility criteria.Conduct market and peer benchmarking to identify sustainable finance opportunities.Support the development and periodic review of sustainable finance frameworks and product criteria.Support the preparation of sustainability/ESG disclosures and Group reporting requirements.Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Bank’s ESRMS.Support the assessment and monitoring of environmental and social risks for applicable financing transactions.Maintain and update ESRMS policies, procedures, tools and relevant sector guidance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering or a related field.Relevant professional certification in ESG, sustainable finance or environmental/social risk management is an advantage.3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in banking, including at least 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainable finance or environmental and social risk within banking/financial services sector.Strong understanding of sustainable finance, ESG, ESRMS and sustainability reporting.Familiarity with relevant frameworks and standards, such as GRI, ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, PCAF, GHG Protocol, Green/Social Loan Principles.
