We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageSustainability EngineerLocation: Al Khobar, Saudi ArabiaExperience: 1–3 YearsJob Type: Full-TimeRole OverviewWe are seeking a Sustainability Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to support the delivery of sustainability consulting services across projects in Saudi Arabia.The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, urban planners, landscape architects, and project stakeholders to support sustainability design integration, certification compliance, and environmental performance assessments for buildings and masterplans.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport sustainability consulting services across building and masterplan projects.Assist in the development and implementation of project sustainability strategies.Support LEED, Mostadam, WELL, and other sustainability certification submissions and documentation.Conduct sustainability assessments during planning, design, and construction stages.Review project designs for compliance with sustainability requirements and project targets.Assist with environmental performance studies and sustainability analyses.Support preparation of sustainability reports, technical memoranda, presentations, and client deliverables.Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams to integrate sustainability requirements throughout project development.Participate in sustainability workshops, design reviews, and client meetings.Monitor emerging sustainability regulations, technologies, and best practices relevant to Saudi Arabia.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Sustainability, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Building Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.1–3 years of relevant professional experience in sustainability consulting, green building certification, environmental design, or sustainable development.Understanding of sustainable building and community design principles.Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred Skills and ExperienceSustainability CertificationsExperience supporting LEED, Mostadam, WELL, BREEAM, SITES, Envision, or equivalent certification systems.Familiarity with Saudi sustainability requirements and regulatory frameworks.Building and Masterplan Sustainability – High Level KnowledgeSustainability design for buildings and masterplans.Climate-responsive and passive design strategies.Urban heat island mitigation strategies.Sustainable mobility and active transportation planning.Sustainable materials and circular economy principles.Sustainability Analysis and Technical StudiesEnergy simulation and building performance assessments.Water balance calculations and water efficiency assessments.Carbon footprint calculations and embodied carbon assessments.Daylight analysis and visual comfort assessments.Shading analysis and solar exposure studies.UTCI analysis and outdoor thermal comfort assessments.Renewable energy feasibility assessments.Life-cycle assessment (LCA).Climate resilience and environmental impact studies.Digital ToolsExperience with one or more of:IES VECAD / REVITRhino / GrasshopperLadybug ToolsEnergyPlusOne-click LCAProfessional CredentialsThe following are considered an advantage:Mostadam APLEED Green AssociateLEED AP BD+C / ND / O+MWELL AP
