Sustainability Consultant

Sustainability Lead | UAE | Up to AED 30,000I am currently supporting a leading UAE real estate developer with the appointment of a Sustainability Professional. This is a client-side position responsible for driving sustainability requirements across major masterplans and individual real estate assets, with a strong focus on design reviews, certification, ESG reporting and stakeholder coordination.Key ResponsibilitiesLead sustainability reviews, certification processes, ESG disclosures, and annual reporting/review requirements.Review sustainability requirements across both individual asset projects and large-scale masterplans.Set and monitor sustainability targets in alignment with project and organisational objectives.Advise and guide internal and external teams, providing clear technical feedback and ensuring sustainability objectives are embedded throughout design development.Coordinate with consultants and internal stakeholders to track compliance, close technical gaps, and maintain required certification standards.Conduct sustainability audits and assessments, identifying opportunities for carbon reduction, resource efficiency, and improved sustainability performance.Support GHG emissions measurement, carbon management, and ESG compliance in line with recognised standards and methodologies.Stay informed on emerging sustainability regulations, technologies, industry benchmarks, and best practices.Lead sustainability workshops and stakeholder engagement to build awareness and drive implementation.Assess sustainability risks and support the development of mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, or another relevant built-environment discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.Relevant professional accreditation or practitioner status in Estidama, LEED, WELL, BREEAM and/or GRI.Experience supporting medium- to large-scale developments across the UAE.Strong exposure to both masterplans and individual asset projects.Career foundation in design, followed by progression into sustainability coordination, technical review, certification, and reporting.Experience gained within a leading multidisciplinary consultancy.Strong presentation, communication, technical review, and stakeholder-management skills.#Hiring #SustainabilityJobs #ESG #Sustainability #LEED #Estidama #BREEAM #WELL #GRI #AbuDhabiJobs #UAEJobs #DubaiJobs #BuiltEnvironment #GreenBuilding #ClimateAction
