Sustainability Manager

Sustainability Manager | UAE | Up to AED 40,000 + Benefits (Schooling, Bonus, Flights)I am currently supporting a leading UAE real estate developer with the appointment of a Sustainability Manager. This is a client-side position responsible for driving sustainability requirements across major masterplans and individual real estate assets, with a strong focus on design reviews, certification, ESG reporting and stakeholder coordination.Key Responsibilities:• Lead sustainability reviews across masterplans and individual developments• Manage green-building certification requirements, including Estidama, LEED, WELL and BREEAM• Advise internal design, development and delivery teams on sustainability strategy and compliance• Coordinate consultants and project stakeholders to resolve technical gaps and maintain certification targets• Support ESG disclosures, annual sustainability reviews and wider corporate reporting• Review project documentation and ensure sustainability requirements are embedded throughout the development lifecycleCandidate Profile:• Strong sustainability experience within the UAE real estate or construction sector• Experience working across large-scale developments, masterplans and individual assets• Consultancy experience is highly desirable; client-side experience would be advantageous• Relevant accreditation in Estidama, LEED, WELL, BREEAM and/or GRI• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering or a related disciplineThis opportunity would suit an experienced sustainability professional looking to move into a highly visible client-side role with exposure to major UAE developments.
