Sustainability Manager

Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Sustainability Manager to lead and coordinate sustainability initiatives across the organization, integrating environmental, social, and responsible business principles into strategy, operations, and project development.You will develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, targets, and action plans aligned with organizational objectives and relevant industry standards. The role involves identifying opportunities to improve environmental performance, resource efficiency, energy use, waste management, carbon reduction, and responsible sourcing.You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders to integrate sustainability considerations into projects, processes, and decision-making. Responsibilities also include monitoring sustainability performance, establishing relevant KPIs, analyzing data, preparing reports, supporting sustainability assessments and certifications, and communicating progress to relevant stakeholders.The ideal candidate is commercially aware, analytical, and passionate about creating measurable positive environmental and social outcomes. You should be able to translate sustainability goals into practical initiatives while balancing business priorities, technical requirements, and long-term value.QualificationsDegree or professional qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.Strong understanding of sustainability principles, environmental management, resource efficiency, and responsible business practices.Knowledge of carbon accounting, greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental performance measurement.Familiarity with relevant sustainability frameworks, standards, reporting requirements, and certification systems.Ability to develop sustainability strategies, targets, KPIs, action plans, and performance monitoring processes.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sustainability data and translate findings into practical recommendations.Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, suppliers, and external stakeholders.Proficiency in relevant sustainability reporting, data analysis, and business software tools.Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and measurable sustainability outcomes.
