The academy is built on a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement, where every staff member plays a role in delivering meaningful outcomes for clients and athletes.This is a full-time, on-site Swim Coach role based in Abu Dhabi. The Swim Coach will plan and deliver structured swim lessons for swimmers of varying ages and skill levels, with a focus on stroke development, water confidence, safety, and long-term progression.Key responsibilities include assessing swimmer ability, creating tailored coaching plans, demonstrating correct technique, and providing clear, constructive feedback to support improvement. The role also involves maintaining a safe pool environment, enforcing facility rules, working closely with other coaches and staff, and communicating regularly with parents, guardians, or clients regarding progress and goals.The successful candidate will uphold Storm Academy’s high standards of professionalism, maintain accurate attendance and progress records, and contribute to a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven coaching environment.The ideal candidates will demonstrate:Strong swimming and aquatics knowledge, with the ability to demonstrate correct technique and promote safe water practices.Proven experience in swim instruction and delivering structured lessons to different age groups and skill levels.Current lifeguard certification, or the ability to obtain certification within a set timeframe.Knowledge of coaching principles, including skill progression, conditioning, and performance development in swimming.Relevant coaching or sports certification from a recognized governing body is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support athletes in an inclusive environment.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage schedules responsibly, and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary sports team.Basic first aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it.
