Island King Pools provides opportunities for on-site roles where individuals can build practical skills and grow within the pool services industry.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Swimming Pool Cleaner role based in Dubai. The Swimming Pool Cleaner is responsible for routine cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming pool floors, brushing pool walls and tiles, and cleaning filters and skimmer baskets. The role involves testing and balancing water chemistry, adding appropriate chemicals, and monitoring equipment such as pumps and heaters to ensure safe and efficient operation. The individual will perform visual inspections for leaks or damage, report issues to supervisors, and assist with minor repairs as directed. The role also includes maintaining cleaning tools and supplies, following safety and hygiene standards, and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues on job sites.Qualifications Experience with basic pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and cleaning filters.Knowledge of water testing and chemical balancing (chlorine, pH, alkalinity) and safe handling of pool chemicals.Ability to perform routine equipment checks on pumps, filters, heaters, and related systems, and identify visible issues.Strong attention to detail, reliability in following cleaning schedules, and commitment to safety and hygiene standards.Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, lift moderate weights, and stand or move for extended periods.Basic communication skills in English; ability to follow instructions and provide clear status updates to supervisors and clients.Prior experience in pool maintenance, facilities cleaning, or a related field is an advantage.Eligibility to work on-site in Dubai; valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is preferred.
