X Wave Pools & Landscaping offers opportunities to work on diverse, high-end projects in a growing market.Role Description The Swimming Pools Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. The technician is responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of swimming pools and related systems, including pumps, filters, heaters, and water treatment equipment. Daily tasks include checking and balancing water chemistry, performing routine cleaning, inspecting and repairing mechanical and electrical components, and ensuring safety and compliance with company standards. The role also involves responding to service calls, documenting work performed, coordinating with supervisors and project managers, and providing professional support to clients on proper pool usage and maintenance. The technician will work both independently and as part of a field team across residential and commercial sites.Qualifications Candidates should possess technical skills in pool equipment installation, hydraulic systems, basic plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.Candidates should possess skills in water chemistry testing, filtration system management, and routine cleaning procedures for pools and water features.Candidates should possess skills in fault diagnosis, minor electrical troubleshooting related to pool systems, and safe use of tools and equipment.Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, following engineering standards, and adhering to safety and quality guidelines.Candidates should possess strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams and outdoor environments.Relevant vocational or technical certification in pool maintenance, plumbing, mechanical, or a related field is preferred.Previous experience as a swimming pool technician or in a similar maintenance role, ideally within the UAE or GCC region, is an advantage.Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, manage physical tasks, and follow health and safety procedures is required.Valid UAE driving license and familiarity with local regulations related to pools and outdoor facilities are beneficial.
