System Administrator III

A&M Technologies, Inc is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator III to join our team. This position is located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Primary responsibility for server operations, inclusive of hardware, operating systems, and utilities on the serversInstall, configure, maintain server and desktop operating systems, databases, and other software applicationsMonitor server and network systems and facilitiesEnsure high quality transmission on the network; Direct testing and analysis of system elements, including communications networks, hardware devices, software, power, communications, lines, modems, and terminalsPerform troubleshootingInstall hardware and softwarePerform backups, database administration and file recoveryOptimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planningAssist users in resolving IT needsQualificationsBachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experienceExperience in lieu of a degree will be consideredTS/SCI with polygraphPossesses expertise in 1 or more operating systems, experienced with configuration, patch management, version and sub-version upgrades
