The engineer will design, implement, and maintain security controls for servers, networks, cloud environments, and critical infrastructure, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems. Daily responsibilities include monitoring security events, managing security tools, performing vulnerability assessments, and responding to incidents in coordination with IT and operations teams. The role also involves hardening systems, reviewing configurations, supporting audits and compliance efforts, and documenting security policies and procedures. The engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders and technology partners to continuously improve BCS’s security posture and support secure delivery of business continuity solutions.Qualifications Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including security frameworks, policies, and risk management.Hands-on experience in Network Security, securing firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and network segmentation.Practical expertise in Application Security, including secure SDLC practices, code review support, and protection of web and enterprise applications.Proficiency in Vulnerability Assessment, using industry-standard tools to identify, prioritize, and remediate system and infrastructure weaknesses.Experience with security monitoring and incident response, including SIEM platforms, log analysis, and threat detection.Knowledge of cloud and data center security, system hardening, and best practices for virtualization and business continuity environments.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are an advantage.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex security topics clearly, and operate in mission-critical, client-focused environments.
