The platform helps organizations identify, assess, approve, deploy, and monitor operating system, software, firmware, and vendor-approved updates across IT and OT infrastructure.REPLIL IPM supports environments incorporating technologies from vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Schneider Electric, Emerson, Rockwell Automation, and others, while correlating vulnerability and security information from sources such as the NIST National Vulnerability Database (NVD).We are looking for a hands-on System Engineer who understands infrastructure, networking, troubleshooting, and—most importantly—the fundamentals of patch management.The RoleThe System Engineer will be responsible for deploying, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting REPLIL Industrial Patch Manager and its supporting infrastructure at customer environments in Saudi Arabia.This is a hands-on technical role suited to an engineer who is comfortable working with Windows Server, patch management technologies, networking, firewalls, remote management protocols, and enterprise infrastructure.Experience in OT or industrial environments is an advantage, but candidates with a strong IT infrastructure and patch-management background who are interested in developing OT expertise are encouraged to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, administer, and troubleshoot REPLIL Industrial Patch Manager (IPM) and related components.Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.Configure and support Microsoft patch-management technologies, including WSUS, Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), and Windows Update.Understand the complete patch-management lifecycle, including:Patch discovery and synchronizationPatch applicability and identificationTesting and validationApproval workflowsPatch deployment and schedulingReboot managementInstallation verificationFailure analysis and remediationCompliance and reportingTroubleshoot failed patch installations using Windows and application logs.Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity between distributed systems.Work with firewalls, switches, routers, VLANs, ports, routing, DNS, certificates, and network security policies.Troubleshoot remote-management technologies and protocols such as WinRM/PowerShell Remoting, WMI, SSH, SNMP, HTTPS/TLS, and RDP.Monitor system availability, performance, services, logs, and infrastructure health.Support patching and management of Windows, Linux, applications, and network infrastructure.Assist customers and internal teams with technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, and customer reports.Participate in system design reviews, testing, SAT activities, implementation, and customer handover.Work closely with REPLIL product, engineering, cybersecurity, and R&D teams.Required QualificationsCandidates should have:3+ years of hands-on experience in System Engineering, System Administration, Infrastructure Support, or a similar role.Good practical understanding of enterprise patch management.Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.Experience with WSUS, SCCM/MECM, Windows Update, or comparable enterprise patch-management platforms.Good understanding of Windows patching, servicing, cumulative updates, security updates, prerequisites, reboot requirements, and patch failure troubleshooting.Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, certificates, services, Task Scheduler, and PowerShell.Good understanding of TCP/IP networking, ports, routing, VLANs, DNS, and firewall rules.Hands-on experience troubleshooting firewalls and network equipment.Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to systematically diagnose infrastructure, operating system, application, and network issues.Ability to communicate technical issues clearly with customers and internal engineering teams.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.Preferred / Advantageous ExperienceExperience in any of the following will be considered an advantage:OT / ICS / Industrial Control SystemsIT/OT network architecture and segmentationIndustrial cybersecurityLinux administration and patchingCisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or similar technologiesVMware / virtualization technologiesSNMP and network-device managementFirmware management and network-device upgradesVulnerability management and CVE/CVSS conceptsNIST NVD or other vulnerability intelligence sourcesPowerShell scripting and automationSQL/PostgreSQLIIS and .NET application hostingAir-gapped or restricted industrial networksWorking with industrial vendors such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Emerson, Rockwell Automation, Yokogawa, or similar platformsPrevious OT experience is preferred but not mandatory.
