System Performance Architect

Our client, a leading international technology company, is looking for an architect to develop advanced performance technologies across the operating system, hardware, and chipset layers. The role focuses on core platform areas including scheduling, kernel optimisation, power and thermal management, application responsiveness, and overall system performance.ResponsibilitiesDesign joint optimisation and system scheduling solutions spanning software, hardware, and chipsetDevelop and tune CPU, GPU, and memory scheduling, frequency scaling, and resource allocation, balancing performance, power, and thermal limitsDiagnose and fix OS-level bottlenecks that affect application responsiveness and animation smoothnessDesign and optimise high-performance system modules, APIs, runtimes, and application frameworksFollow industry and academic developments and translate relevant findings into future technical roadmapsTake solutions from concept and architecture through to deployment on end-user devicesRequirementsDeep expertise in at least one of the following: OS or kernel performance optimisation, CPU/GPU/memory scheduling, hardware-software or chipset co-optimisation, power and thermal-aware scheduling, runtime and application performance, or high-performance framework designStrong understanding of operating system architecture and performance fundamentalsDemonstrated success in resolving complex performance bottlenecks with measurable resultsStrong engineering and problem-solving skillsNice to HaveExperience with Linux, Android, kernel scheduling etc.
