System Software Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Software Engineer to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining internal business applications to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise systems, collaborate with solution architects and senior engineers, and gain exposure to Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).System Development & ImplementationDevelop, test, deploy, and maintain in-house software applications to support business operations and customer requirements.Follow established coding standards, development frameworks, and best practices to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Design and implement new application features based on functional specifications provided by Solution Architects and business stakeholders.Perform unit testing and support system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production releases.Database DevelopmentDesign, develop, and optimize database structures, stored procedures, functions, and scripts.Develop and maintain applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server databases.Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and efficient database operations.System Support & EnhancementTroubleshoot application issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement bug fixes.Monitor and continuously improve system performance, reliability, and responsiveness.Support system enhancements and upgrades to meet evolving business needs.Collaboration & Project DeliveryCollaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and support teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Evaluate technical feasibility of business requirements and provide effort estimations.Participate in project implementation activities and contribute to successful project delivery.Documentation & GovernanceMaintain technical documentation, source code repositories, and development artifacts.Participate in code reviews and promote development best practices within the team.Continuous LearningLearn and develop domain knowledge in Manufacturing Information Systems (MIS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).Work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to continuously improve technical competencies.EA License No.: 01C4394 (PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd)By sending us your personal data and curriculum vitae (CV), you are deemed to consent to PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd and its affiliates to collect, use and disclose your personal data for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.persolsingapore.com/policies.
