Systems Accountant

JOB PURPOSE:Owner of the finance data and systems layer: maps and controls every automated pipeline from the platform,Metabase and SaaS applications into Microsoft Dynamics, leads finance system implementations end to end, andenforces system controls and segregation of duties — with 48-hour corrective action and 99.5% integrity across alldata sources.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Map, monitor and maintain automated financial data pipelines across the core platform, Metabase, Microsoft Dynamics and supporting SaaS applications (procurement, payroll, expense-management tools)Act as the Finance Project Lead for new software, modules and system upgrades — define business requirements, build future-state process maps, and lead cross-departmental rolloutsDesign and execute rigorous UAT scripts and data-migration protocols — zero data loss or misalignment during deployments and schema changesServe as super-user / administrator of Microsoft Dynamics and peripheral finance apps; design and enforce system controls, user-access mapping and strict Segregation of Duties (SoD)Investigate and resolve data-sync failures, transaction-processing errors and ledger mismatches —corrective action within 48 hours; proactively automate manual workaroundsCollaborate with the BI team so Metabase data structures reflect accounting logic and the Chart of Accounts; maintain 99.5% integrity across all data sourcesRequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience:3 to 5 years of experience in finance systems, enterprise resource planning, or financial data managementExperience supporting finance system integrations and data validationExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable enterprise resource planning systemExperience developing financial reports, dashboards, and data quality controlsExperience supporting finance automation and digital transformation initiatives
