Our brands are performing strongly, our markets are healthy, and we’re continuing to invest in high-calibre people across the business.Now we’re looking for someone to take ownership of how we identify, engage and hire that talent.You’ll be the driving force behind proactive hiring across the business, with a particular focus on attracting high-performing recruiters from competitors.This is a one-person TA function, so it’s a role for someone who enjoys autonomy, moves quickly and creates momentum rather than waiting for a brief to land in their inbox.You’ll work closely with senior leaders and heads of desks, understanding where the business is heading and translating that into a proactive talent strategy.A big part of the role will be getting out into the market: building your network, understanding competitor teams, mapping talent and having conversations with people who may not be actively looking but could be the right fit.We already know our employee proposition and what differentiates each of our brands. Your job will be to take that proposition into the market and make the right people want to hear more.Own proactive recruitment across the business, with a strong emphasis on competitor hiringBuild and maintain a high-quality network of recruitment professionals across relevant marketsDevelop talent pipelines across junior through senior levelsMarket map competitors, teams and individual talent pools to identify opportunitiesUse headhunting and direct sourcing techniques to engage passive candidatesWork closely with Heads of Department and desk leaders to understand hiring needs and challenge briefs where appropriatePartner effectively with recruitment agencies and rec-to-rec partners where they add valueManage external recruitment relationships and ensure candidates receive a consistently strong experienceBring a commercial lens to every hiring decision — understanding both the quality of the hire and the business impactHelp hiring managers move quickly through a streamlined interview and offer processBuild a clear understanding of our different brands, their propositions and the talent they are best positioned to attractContinually look for better, faster and more effective ways to build the hiring pipelineWhat matters most is that you:Have strong talent acquisition experience, ideally within a recruitment businessAre confident proactively headhunting rather than relying on inbound applicationsKnow how to build relationships and develop a network over timeCan market map and identify where the best talent sitsHave strong sales and influencing skills — you’re comfortable opening doors and selling an opportunityThink commercially and understand what makes a candidate moveAre comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders and challenging when necessaryAre highly proactive and self-directedEnjoy working at pace and creating action without needing to be told what to doCare about candidate experience and know that great hiring is about more than simply filling a vacancyPackage & working pattern£45,000–£60,000 base salary, depending on experienceCommission structure, with flexibility for the right individual4 days in the London office, 1 day working from homeMonday–Thursday: 9am–6pmFriday: 9am–5pm25 days' holidayPensionLife insuranceHealth insuranceThe role will be London-based but will have a global remit, including the opportunity to support hiring into the US market.
