We're looking for a Tableau Analytics Platform Engineer to play a key role in shaping and supporting an enterprise-wide analytics environment that empowers teams to make smarter, data-driven decisions.Working as part of a collaborative Business Intelligence team, you'll take ownership of the Tableau platform, ensuring it remains secure, scalable and highly available. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand reporting requirements, deliver innovative BI solutions and continuously improve the analytics capability.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain and optimise the Tableau platform, ensuring high availability, security and performance.Design, develop and publish high-quality dashboards, reports and reusable data sources.Manage Tableau Server, including upgrades, patching, user management and platform support.Own the Tableau platform roadmap, identifying opportunities for improvement and future enhancements.Develop scalable reporting solutions capable of handling large and complex datasets.Build and maintain data governance, security models and semantic layers.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver automated reporting solutions.Support self-service analytics by enabling users to access trusted, reliable data.Work alongside BI, Data Warehouse and Infrastructure teams on enterprise analytics initiatives.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support and guidance to users.Promote data quality, governance and best practice across the organisation.Explore opportunities to leverage Python, R and automation to enhance analytics capabilities.What We're Looking ForAt least 6 years' experience supporting and developing Business Intelligence or Analytics platforms.Strong hands-on experience with the Tableau product suite, including Tableau Server administration.Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.Good understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts such as Star Schema and Snowflake.Experience creating and publishing dashboards, reports and semantic data models.Knowledge of Tableau REST API, scripting or other programming languages would be advantageous.Experience with Python or R would be beneficial.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.If you're looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a business that values innovation, data-driven decision making and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
