This is an excellent opportunity for an investment professional with strong knowledge of the Taiwan equity market to work closely with portfolio managers and contribute to fundamental research across a broad range of sectors.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fundamental company research and financial analysis on Taiwan listed companies, including building and maintaining financial models, earnings forecasts and investment recommendations.
- Generate differentiated investment ideas through company meetings, channel checks, industry research and analysis of market trends.
- Work closely with portfolio managers to identify long and short investment opportunities and support portfolio construction decisions.
- Monitor existing holdings and provide timely updates on company developments, earnings results, regulatory changes and industry dynamics.
- Collaborate with regional and global investment teams, contributing to investment discussions and research initiatives across the platform.Requirements
- 3+ years of equity research or investment experience gained from a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank or private investment platform.
- Strong knowledge of the Taiwan equity market, with coverage experience across one or more sectors preferred.
- Proven financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated passion for investing and a strong understanding of equity markets.
- Ability to generate independent investment ideas and articulate investment views with conviction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
