Role DescriptionThe Talent Acquisition Director / Executive Hiring Lead / Recruitment Strategy Analyst develops and delivers recruitment approaches that help the organisation attract, assess, and appoint suitable talent. This role connects workforce priorities with effective sourcing, candidate evaluation, and hiring processes, supporting both immediate vacancies and longer-term organisational capability.The position works closely with executive leadership, HR Business Partners, hiring managers, Finance, Employer Branding, and external recruitment partners. Responsibilities include assessing hiring demand, developing recruitment plans, researching talent markets, identifying candidates, coordinating assessments, and monitoring recruitment performance. Executive hiring responsibilities include defining leadership requirements, conducting targeted searches, managing confidential candidate relationships, and supporting structured selection and offer discussions.At director level, the role leads the talent acquisition function, manages resources and partnerships, and establishes recruitment standards and priorities. At executive-hiring lead level, it coordinates senior appointments and advises stakeholders throughout the search process. At analyst level, it evaluates hiring trends, sourcing effectiveness, recruitment costs, and process bottlenecks. Across all levels, the role promotes fair assessment, clear communication, and a consistent candidate experience while using evidence to improve recruitment decisions.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Management, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Relevant professional HR qualification or training in recruitment, assessment, or workforce planning is an advantage.Experience in talent acquisition, executive search, recruitment strategy, sourcing, or recruitment analytics.For director-level positions, demonstrated experience leading recruitment teams, managing budgets, and advising senior leadership.Ability to translate workforce plans and business priorities into practical recruitment strategies and hiring schedules.Experience defining role requirements, candidate profiles, assessment criteria, and search briefs with hiring stakeholders.Strong understanding of sourcing methods, talent mapping, market research, and proactive candidate engagement.Experience managing confidential executive searches and building relationships with senior candidates is advantageous.Ability to coordinate structured interviews, assessments, reference checks, and selection documentation.Experience supporting offer development, negotiation, and candidate communication in partnership with HR and hiring managers.Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, recruitment databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.Ability to analyse recruitment measures such as time to fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, cost per hire, and candidate experience.Experience evaluating recruitment agencies, executive-search firms, assessment providers, and other external partners.Strong communication, stakeholder-management, influencing, and analytical skills, with the ability to challenge hiring assumptions constructively.Sound judgement, discretion, attention to detail, and commitment to fair selection and responsible handling of candidate information.
