Location: GandhinagarAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Lead to lead end-to-end recruitment initiatives for global manufacturing operations, including domestic and international hiring.

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire high-caliber talent across manufacturing plants, engineering functions, supply chain, operations, quality, projects, R&D, corporate functions, and leadership positions across India and international markets.The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in hiring for global manufacturing organizations and demonstrate expertise in workforce planning, stakeholder management, talent mapping, employer branding, recruitment analytics, and building high-performing recruitment teams. The role will have significant responsibility for international talent acquisition, cross-border hiring, global talent mapping, and engagement with talent markets across regions such as the Middle East, Europe, APAC, Africa, and North America.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition Strategy & Workforce PlanningDevelop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational growth plans, global manufacturing expansion, and business requirements across domestic and international markets.Partner with business leaders, plant heads, and functional leaders to forecast workforce requirements and create hiring roadmaps for India and overseas operations.Drive workforce planning, succession pipelines, and talent mapping for critical manufacturing and leadership roles.Build proactive talent pipelines for niche engineering, technical, operational, and leadership positions across global talent markets.Develop market-specific recruitment strategies based on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, hiring practices, and local market dynamics.Global & International Talent AcquisitionLead end-to-end international recruitment initiatives across multiple geographies and talent markets.Manage hiring mandates for overseas locations and support the organization’s international expansion and global workforce requirements.Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify talent from international markets for specialized, technical, leadership, and critical business roles.Build and maintain talent pools across regions including Middle East, Europe, APAC, Africa, North America, and other relevant international markets.Partner with international recruitment consultants, executive search firms, agencies, professional networks, and industry associations to support global hiring.Manage cross-border recruitment processes while ensuring alignment with applicable hiring practices, documentation requirements, and organizational policies.Develop market intelligence on international talent availability, compensation benchmarks, competitor hiring trends, and talent movement.Drive passive candidate engagement and international talent mapping for critical and hard-to-fill positions.Support relocation and international mobility requirements associated with overseas hiring, in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders.Global Manufacturing RecruitmentLead end-to-end recruitment for manufacturing, operations, engineering, maintenance, projects, quality, procurement, supply chain, EHS, R&D, and corporate functions.Manage hiring requirements across domestic and international manufacturing locations.Develop sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche manufacturing roles across local and global talent markets.Ensure quality hiring while meeting recruitment timelines and business expectations.Support greenfield, brownfield, capacity expansion, and international expansion hiring projects.Leadership Hiring & Talent MappingLead recruitment for senior management and leadership positions across manufacturing and corporate functions, including international mandates.Conduct market intelligence, competitor mapping, and talent benchmarking exercises across domestic and international markets.Build relationships with industry professionals, consultants, executive search partners, and global talent networks.Maintain talent pipelines for succession and future business requirements across geographies.Stakeholder ManagementPartner closely with business leaders, plant heads, functional leaders, and international stakeholders to understand organizational talent needs.Provide market insights on domestic and international talent availability, compensation trends, competitor hiring activities, and market dynamics.Conduct periodic hiring reviews with leadership teams and present recruitment dashboards and talent market insights.Influence hiring decisions through data-driven recommendations and talent market intelligence.Recruitment Operations & Process ExcellenceEstablish robust recruitment processes, governance frameworks, and SOPs for domestic and international hiring.Drive ATS adoption, recruitment automation, and process optimization initiatives.Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, diversity goals, and hiring standards across relevant geographies.Monitor and improve key recruitment metrics including:Time to HireCost per HireOffer Acceptance RatioSource EffectivenessQuality of HireHiring Manager SatisfactionInternational Hiring industry associations, and international talent networks.Develop initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility as an employer across global talent markets.Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including international candidates.Team LeadershipLead, mentor, and develop the Talent Acquisition team supporting domestic and international hiring.Establish performance metrics and accountability frameworks for the recruitment team.Build sourcing and assessment capabilities through coaching and training.Develop the team's capability to manage global sourcing, international recruitment, and cross-border hiring mandates.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-performance recruiting.Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong expertise in Talent Acquisition Strategy and Workforce Planning.Proven experience in hiring for global manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, and leadership functions.Strong understanding of international talent markets and global recruitment practices.Proven experience managing international / cross-border hiring mandates will be strongly preferred.Expertise in talent mapping, executive search, and passive candidate engagement across domestic and international markets.Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills across multiple geographies.Strong recruitment analytics and data-driven decision-making capabilities.Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, and social recruiting.Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.Ability to manage large-scale domestic and international hiring projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of market-specific sourcing strategies and candidate engagement approaches.QualificationsMBA / PGDM in Human Resources or related discipline.10–16 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience.Minimum 5 years of experience leading recruitment teams.Mandatory experience in global manufacturing, industrial, engineering, EPC, automotive, renewable energy, heavy engineering, chemicals, metals, or process industries.Hands-on experience managing international hiring across one or more regions such as the Middle East, Europe, APAC, Africa, or North America will be preferred.Experience managing senior leadership and niche technical hiring across multiple geographies will be an added advantage.Exposure to international recruitment agencies, executive search firms, global sourcing platforms, and cross-border hiring processes will be preferred.
