قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجNote: This is a maternity cover position for a 3 months periodAIMThe Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for end-to-end finding, sourcing, attracting, and selecting top-tier candidates. This role identifies potential candidates and core competencies to match appropriately with active vacancies while proactively mapping and tracking talent for future commercial and operational roles. The incumbent also addresses general queries related to contracts, compensation benchmarks, and onboarding logistics.TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIESSource and screen candidates utilizing an extensive range of recruitment channels including job boards, social media networks, and employee referrals.Support hiring managers by preparing detailed job descriptions, publishing job advertisements, managing incoming candidate responses, and structuring interview rounds.Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews, closely aligning with Managers and hiring stakeholders.Administer pre-employment screening and company assessments, including professional reference checks when required.Assist in scheduling and confirming structured orientation pathways for all incoming new hires.SOURCING & PIPELINE MANAGEMENTProactively source and engage candidates across various organizational levels within freight forwarding and contract logistics.Communicate role details clearly to applicants, covering duties, responsibilities, compensation frameworks, benefits, and career progression.Rigorously review employment applications and match candidate qualifications directly against job specifications.Execute targeted searches utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, local career portals, networking events, career fairs, and direct headhunting.Conduct thorough initial phone screenings leading up to face-to-face structured competency interviews.Map market talent and maintain pipelines to satisfy current and anticipated staffing expansions.GENERIC COMPETENCIES & STANDARDSCommunication: Excellent written and verbal command of English with exceptional stakeholder liaison abilities.Drive & Initiative: Strong sense of ownership and adaptability to meet demanding recruitment SLAs.Administration: Robust organizational skills, computer literacy, and precise ATS management.Resilience: High stress resistance and capability to manage high-volume recruitment cycles.Collaboration: Proven team player capable of operating both independently and within cross-functional teams.Cultural Dexterity: Ability to navigate and work effectively with diverse, multicultural teams.Persistence: Tenacious follow-through on difficult-to-fill technical and commercial profiles.FUNCTIONAL STANDARDS & KPISIndustry Acumen: Direct working knowledge of recruiting within freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain sectors is a strong advantage.Diversity & Inclusion: Deep understanding of workforce diversity principles integrated into sourcing strategies.Cost per Hire: Optimization of recruitment channels to minimize external agency spend.Time to Fill: Meeting targeted lifecycle benchmarks from requisition approval to offer acceptance.Turnover Costs: Mitigation through robust candidate-role cultural and technical alignment.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEExperience: 3+ years of proven work experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist. In-house recruitment and high-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred.Selection Expertise: Demonstrated hands-on experience managing candidate selection workflows across various professional seniority levels.Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with modern HR databases, HRIS platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-management abilities.Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline is preferred.Industry Exposure: Previous background recruiting in supply chain, logistics, or customer service environments is a distinct asset.
