Talent Acquisition (US Technology Lead) - Major Hedge Fund - up to $200k base + Bonus

An industry-leading, multi-billion-dollar AUM hedge fund is looking to make a key Talent Acquisition hire in New York as part of its continued US expansion.This global, multi-strategy firm is building out a significant presence in the US and is looking to appoint its first locally based Talent Acquisition specialist dedicated to the technology function (the wider TA team is established across the firm's international offices).The successful hire will take ownership of recruitment across a range of core technology disciplines. As the first specialist on the ground, there is also a genuine opportunity to help shape the firm's US technology hiring strategy, develop and improve recruitment processes and tools, and partner closely with senior stakeholders in a consultative capacity. Whilst hands-on recruitment will remain central to the role, the firm is looking for someone commercially minded, proactive and capable of adding value beyond execution.Candidates will ideally have 7–12 years of relevant experience, gained within a competing hedge fund, proprietary trading firm or leading technology business, alongside a strong track record of delivering technical hires in competitive markets. Applications from senior agency recruiters looking to transition in-house will also be considered, provided they can demonstrate the technical knowledge, credibility and experience required. Specific experience recruiting across software development, infrastructure, data and AI disciplines is particularly desirable.The role will pay up to a $200k base salary and a large % bonus for a high performer.
