The Talent Development Lead is responsible for providing a professional HR / Training service within general policies and professional standards, in order to support the effective provision of high-quality HR / Training services. He / she plans, coordinates, and directs training and staff development programs for the organization.Job ResponsibilitiesInitiate and manage the development and/or implementation of functional and/or corporate projects in order to support the ongoing development of training initiatives for the retail divisionIntroduce and implement in-house training and development plans designed to achieve results aligned with company business goals, as well as external training and development initiatives aligned with personal development plansManage and conduct the assessment of training needs in coordination with line managers and provide feedback on training needs to the hierarchyFormulate training policies, programs and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs, company production processes, business systems and/or changes in products, procedures or servicesCarry out functional supervisory responsibilities that include planning and assigning tasks, setting deadlines, monitoring results and quality, providing training and relaying team's request to hierarchyAssist in recruiting, training, motivating and evaluating his / her team to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base and that staff are optimally motivated and enabled to maximize their potential and contribution to the companySpecific for Regional: Develop and implement leadership training programs for the region in line with the yearly learning and development strategy and approved budgetSpecific for Regional: Provide guidance to country trainers in the implementation of group/regional training initiatives, coach and follow up on meeting set objectives and standardsSpecific for Regional: Analyze various organizational HR performance indicators such as employee turnover, performance appraisals results, etc. and suggest a training action plan in coordination with country HRSpecific for Regional: Develop the regional learning and development strategy in coordination with the hierarchyQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration; MBA in related field is a plus6-8 years of experience in a similar filed with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role or experienceFluency in EnglishProficiency in MS Office
