We manage partnerships between creators, brands, and agencies—from negotiation through content delivery and payment.The RoleWe’re hiring a highly organized Talent Payments Coordinator to manage invoicing, collections, and creator-payment administration across our partnerships.You will ensure invoices are accurate, submitted correctly, tracked, collected, and reconciled. You will maintain a clear view of every outstanding payment and proactively resolve delays.This is an entry-level role for someone who is exceptionally detail-oriented, persistent, comfortable with numbers, and confident communicating with partners.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue accurate invoices based on executed agreementsConfirm invoicing requirements, payment terms, billing contacts, and purchase-order informationSubmit invoices through brand and agency payment platformsRegister Vertical Talent Group as a vendor with new partnersMaintain vendor profiles, tax forms, and payment informationTrack every invoice from submission through paymentMaintain an accurate accounts-receivable reportFollow up with brands and agencies before and after invoices become overdueInvestigate missing, delayed, partial, or incorrectly applied paymentsReconcile incoming payments against invoices and individual brand dealsCalculate talent payouts and agency commissionsPrepare creator payment reports for internal reviewCoordinate approved talent payouts and confirm completionMaintain accurate records of invoices, remittances, fees, and payoutsKeep agents and coordinators informed about payment statusEscalate overdue balances and payment discrepanciesHelp improve invoicing, collection, and payout processes as the agency growsQualifications0–2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, payroll, finance, or administrative operationsStrong attention to detail and comfort working with numbersExcellent organization and follow-throughClear, professional written communicationConfidence following up persistently with external partnersAbility to manage a large number of transactions and deadlinesAbility to handle confidential financial information responsiblyAvailability throughout standard New York working hoursPreferred ExperienceExperience with QuickBooks or another accounting platformFamiliarity with payment and vendor portalsExperience reconciling payments or calculating commissionsThis is a fully remote position, but you must be consistently available during New York business hours.
