Akanksha is committed to building a strong educational foundation, nurturing core values, and guiding students to plan for steady livelihoods as a path to a better standard of living.Role Description The Teacher Lead – Hindi Marathi at PKGEMS School, Koregaon Park, Pune will design and deliver engaging Hindi and Marathi lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and Akanksha’s educational philosophy. This full-time, on-site role involves planning age-appropriate learning activities, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to help learners meet academic and developmental goals. The Teacher Lead will mentor and support other educators, coordinate training sessions, and collaborate with school leadership to improve teaching practices. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment, communicating regularly with families, and participating in school events, meetings, and professional development initiatives in Pune.Qualifications Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience in Hindi and Marathi instruction at school level.Ability to develop effective Lesson Planning and curriculum-aligned learning materials.Excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication and constructive collaboration with colleagues and families.Experience in Training or mentoring teachers, and contributing to capacity-building within the school team.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; formal teacher training or certification is preferred.Fluency in Hindi and Marathi, with functional proficiency in English for documentation and communication.Demonstrated commitment to equity in education and working with children from low-income communities.Ability to manage classrooms effectively, use basic educational technology, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs.
