The Teacher of Art and Textile Design is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in visual arts and textile design for students across relevant grade levels. Daily tasks include preparing instructional materials, guiding learners through practical projects, providing constructive feedback, and assessing student progress in alignment with school standards. The teacher collaborates with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives, maintains an organized and safe classroom and studio environment, and participates in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. The role also involves supporting an inclusive learning atmosphere that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and respect for diverse perspectives.Qualifications Ability to design effective instruction, including Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development aligned with school goals.Demonstrated Teaching experience, preferably in Art Education or related creative subjects.Practical expertise in visual arts, including Painting and textile design techniques.Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, Design, or a closely related field.Strong classroom management skills and commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning.Ability to communicate clearly in English; Swedish language skills are an advantage.Experience working in an international or multicultural school environment is beneficial.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
